He considers writing to be among the highest forms of trouble making and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize for his efforts. His work has been published in the New York Quarterly, New World Writing, Hobart, The MacGuffin, Lunch Ticket, The Good Men Project,The Penmen Review, the Manhattanville Review, Drunken Boat, Gravel, the Boston Literary Magazine, FRiGGOpium, Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, Flashquake, Litro UK, Cheap Pop, Blaze Vox, People Holding, Entropy,  Everyday Fiction, Short Fast & Deadly, the Minetta Review, Prime Number, Referential, the Zodiac Review, Red Fez, Sacred Journey, Seltzer, 4’33, Night Train, Fringe, Six-Minute Fiction and The Nervous BreakdownOn the Proper Role of Desire is his first collection of short fiction.
